\u00ab An amazing experience that allowed me to discover a new culture, a different lifestyle, and a new school system. I was impressed by the strong environmental awareness in everyday life, from waste sorting to the widespread use of bikes. At school, I enjoyed the more relaxed relationship between students and teachers, and the variety of subjects offered. Living with my host family gave me a real insight into German daily life, they took me to visit nearby towns. It was a very enriching experience on cultural, family, and language levels, an adventure I can only recommend to other students. Thank you very much to my host family and Max Windm\u00fcller for such a warm welcome and very nice time! \u00bb<\/div>\n

\u00ab My experience at Max Winderm\u00fcller School was such a great one to live. At first I didn\u0092t have any expectations, but I was nowhere near disappointed after attending this school. My host family was so welcoming and nice to me, I felt like I was loved and a part of them by doing many activities like visiting the city and eating typical German dishes together. I also adapted to their daily life and biked to school everyday unlike at home, where I don\u0092t bike at all, but I got used to it after a few days. Although my schoolmates and I barely understand German, the teachers did their best to make us follow the classes and understand the subjects by translating or giving us the permission to do researches on our phones. This whole journey was way different from how it is in Martinique not only because of the cold weather, but for how different the educational system and the culture are too. All of that just to say that I enjoyed my experience at Max Windm\u00fcller to the fullest and now all the lovely people that I met throughout this experience have a special place in my heart. \u00bb<\/div>\n

\u00ab I started this exchange with a bit of apprehension to leave for weeks in an unknown place, but I instantly felt comfortable with my host family and the city of Emden. It’s a small and warm city, full of history and traditions. We also had a unique experience at Max Windmuller school, which give us a chance to discover real German teenagers lifestyle. Even though German is such a difficult language, I did my best to follow the classes with everyone and learn new things. Both teachers and students were really welcoming which made our adaptation into the school easier.<\/div>\n
